We received many reports regarding playback issues from thursday’s release, today we made an update with the following changes:
- Reverted “Automatically switch to libVLC when Media3 (ExoPlayer) starts with audio only but no video frame was rendered”
- Downgraded Media3 (ExoPlayer) from 1.4.0-alpha02 to 1.3.1
For those that use Android TV devices that do not include the Play Store (and are thus not receiving automated updates), you can use this link to the downloads page on our website to access the downloads prior to cache expiration.
Thanks, it was a pain 😭
Everything is alright now. Thank you for the speedy update, you are the best !
Thank you!
Thanks!
The engineers worked hard, and thank you very much for your timely impact on the user’s problems. But some programs still can not find subtitles, you can add the Android TV version of the ability to select the local subtitle file! This will be very useful
Hi, Is it possible to fix the video player to have an option to play DV or HDR10 in some hybrid files? Kodi has that processing option. Thanks
Sometimes the hybrid label files DV/HDR10 automatically play in DV and the screen goes black. But it always work on files with only HDR10 label.
