About Live Activities
Download Live Activities require iOS 16.2 or later. Due to iOS background-execution restrictions, live progress reporting may pause around 30 seconds after the app enters the background. The download will continue, and the Live Activity will update when it completes or fails.
A future update is planned to support background torrent downloading on iOS 26 and later. On older iOS versions, opening a video in Picture in Picture can keep the app running while a download continues.
