Stremio is a project that has been running for more than 8 years — it has been a pleasure to share it with every one of you, developing one of the greatest streaming experiences.
While we have seen our highs and lows through the years, our community has grown a lot and it has always pulled through. Which is why it is so particularly wonderful.
So we would like to thank you all for being on this journey with us, and also promise to take it to new heights in the future.

Salut, problema cu subtitrarile nu e vina celor de la Stremio deoarece nu ei se ocupa cu continutul. Daca ai probleme cu gasirea continutului subtitrat in romana poti incerca addonul OpenSubtitles.

When will we have the app for LG’s smarts?
I recently heard LG is moving from webOS to Google TV
I wonder if that means some of the newer latest WebOs TV’s will get an overhaul if current version processors can run Android natively. If porting is required then not likely. I hope that’s true news. My last panel was an LG and didn’t compare to my Sony Google TV. But with the port to Samsung tizen, I heard WebOS port was just about due out real soon.

I used the “Downloader” app, go to Google, and search for stremio apk. It won’t install if you don’t have apps from unknown sources checked in settings.

The fire stick is android. You can use the “downloader” app from fire stick app store to open stremio.com and then proceed to download the APK.
Heavily modified, I wouldn’t even call it Android but that’s me.
I have been using Stremio on my Firestick 4K for several years. Works great. Firesticks run on the Android OS. 😀

It’s a great app. But sometimes it takes too much time on buffering.
The app does not determine the loading speed. There is only so much stremio can do to help.
The main factors are- 1. the speed of sources where your addons are attaining the files from. 2. The speed of your internet.
What is your download speeds like? And which torrents are you selecting to watch on? 1080 , 720 , 480 , HD. If you select a high resolution and your internet speeds are low, it will buffer. Select a lower resolution then. Or reboot your router.

for LG smart TV owners, no need for a dedicated app! the Web version on the LG Browser is so beautiful, way more easy to navigate with magic remote than on the android devices with app!

Works like a charm on Android. Under Windows I get frequent crashes unfortunately. All in all a great experience!
Only thing missing is profiles especially for children (filtering out certain PG ratings). That’s the only thing stopping me from canceling all of my streaming subscriptions.

Hi! I’ve been using Stremio for a couple of years now and I use it even more than my paid streaming services. However, ever since one of the latest updates (actually, it’s several months now), I’ve been having lots of problems to cast contents from the phone to Chromecast (3rd gen) and using the subtitles. It worked like charm about a year ago and now it’s nerve wrecking. Do you plan to solve this? Thank you!
