We published an article yesterday that we were accepted for 2021+ Samsung TV models. Today we got accepted for 2019+ Samsung TV models!
There are no current plans to ever support Samsung TV models that were released prior to 2019.
If the app does not have good performance on your TV, it is recommended to go to the app settings, then select “Interface”, set the “Theme” to “Default” and “Animations” to “Off”.
If you have a 2019+ Samsung TV and the app does not show for you in the Samsung App Store, this is because it takes some time for the app to show in all countries. It may show in the Videos apps section of the app store before it appears in the search results.
Hello, I have a question for the Samsung Tizen 2020, is it the production date or do I download it?
We support all Samsung TV models that have been produced in 2019 and above, so 2020 should refer to the TV manufacturing date.
There is no option to download the app, you will need to search for “Stremio” in the Samsung TV App Store.

Why not set the theme/animations to the recommended settings (default, off) as default when installing the app?

Hey, Subtitles are not nothing coming for movies/series on Samsung tv.
Hi team, there are a few issues-
1. Subtitles are not being loaded.
2. Embedded subtitles are not working.
3. There are videos not running the error is – “unable to convert form torrent file” or “unknown error”
All of the above are working fine for pc/Android for the same video links.
Can you please check? It’ll help a lot. Btw love your work guys please keep it up.
Working well on a 2022 model. Only issue is how to hide the playback controls when playing and changing subtitles? Back button takes me to home menu. Arrow buttons navigate the interface. Can start playing but OST remains
