We released Stremio Android (v1.5.0)!
Stremio Android changes:
– Greatly improved performance on low end devices
– Improved playback of 4K streams in internal player (it is important to set the caching setting to “no cache”, this setting is much better for streaming large videos when using android devices that have little disk space)
– Support auto-selecting audio track
– Fix for tracking progress with VLC as external player
– Fix for subtitles delay (it is now consistent with the desktop app)
– Fix issue where input area text would not be visible in landscape mode
– Fix for going back from external video players
– Updated translations
Cinemeta changes:
– Larger year range for “New” catalog, it now allows filtering movies by 2022-1920 and series by 2022-1960
– Renamed “Worth Watching” catalog to “Featured”
Stay tuned as we have many surprises planned for our users in 2022!

Nice update. The app is working much better. Can’t wait to see what you guys add next. Keep up the good work
I love Stremio! It’s way better than all VOD platforms alltogether! I have been having problems with delayed subtitles and some movies not playing on my TV’s chromecast and I can’t wait to test with this new update! Thanks a lot! I wish there was an option to buy the app or make donations so I could show some appreciation 🙂
This update is so awesome! Thanks for fixing subtitle delay and making 4K and app performance so much better! 😀
