Not too long ago we released Stremio v5 for Windows.
Now we made the new Stremio v5 Shell for Windows open source, the GitHub repository for it can be found here.
Stremio v5 for Windows uses Stremio Web for the UI, which is also open source and can be found here.
This project is currently considered in beta stage and still has many bugs that we are trying to fix, but we invite developers from our community to join us in this endeavour, let’s make this the Stremio Windows version that everyone has been hoping for!
If you are more interested in a MacOS or Linux version of Stremio v5, we also invite you to open an issue about it in the “stremio-shell-ng” repository where it can be discussed further.
Do keep in mind that our team is small, so there is still quite a long way to go before being able to release the official MacOS and Linux versions, but we have faith that with a little help from the developers in the community we could move these projects along much faster also.
