Introducing Stremio AI

Posted on April 1, 2025 by Alex

We’re excited to unveil Stremio AI! Harnessing advanced artificial intelligence to tackle a fundamental challenge: distilling movie and episode plots into concise, accessible summaries.

Stremio AI watches content for you, allowing you to reclaim valuable time for meaningful connections with loved ones rather than spending hours viewing everything yourself. Our AI creates comprehensive summaries of everything it observes.

We believe this technology could revolutionize global media consumption!

While our marketing strategy is still in development, here’s an exclusive preview of what our team is creating:

  • Tired of actually watching shows? Let our AI do the heavy lifting! Now you can say ‘I’ve seen it’ with technically-almost-zero-percent dishonesty!
  • Stremio AI: Because life’s too short to watch all 15 seasons of Supernatural. We’ll watch it for you and send you enough plot points to convincingly nod along at parties.
  • ‘What happened in that 3-hour art film?’ Used to be a dreaded question. Now with Stremio AI, get pretentious film analysis without the pretentious film watching! Impress your friends at indie coffee shops with our curated selection of obscure movie takes.
  • Still falling asleep during movies? Our AI never sleeps! (Mostly because we forgot to code in that feature.) Get all the cultural references without the culture!
  • Introducing Stremio AI: When ‘Netflix and Chill’ is too much commitment, and you just want the ‘and Chill’ part. We’ll handle the Netflix, you handle… whatever else you’re doing.
  • WARNING: Side effects may include confident discussions about shows you’ve never seen, an inexplicable knowledge of plot twists, and the ability to finally understand what your coworkers are talking about at lunch.
  • Coming soon: Our premium package includes AI-generated reaction faces to use when people discuss plot twists you didn’t actually watch!

Looks cool, but I really want an ai which can correct the subtitles if its synced wrong. To follow the mouth movement and all that.

Eso si sería genial subtitulos sincronizados por IA si es que el complemento no cuneta con uno de tu idioma, así como el audio eso ya sería brillante pero nada cuesta soñar

Will we be able to train the AI to change the plot to how we feel the movie should have ended? HAFD

The subtitles feature must be better. Lots of syncing problem. Sometimes I watch movies with no subs at all, because there is not any or they are not synced correctly. Syncing the subs manually is to much headache, time consuming.
