We have increased the Android (mobile and TV) beta testing limit to unlimited users and have added Stremio Android TV to the Beta channel.
Everyone can test the new Android TV release by joining the Android beta channel for Stremio now.
Let’s see what changed:
- Added “Blur unwatched episodes image” setting
- Improved subtitles menu (select language first, then select subtitle variation)
- Updated Media3 (ExoPlayer) internal player
- Updated libVLC internal player
As it has been some time since we made an Android TV release, the update will stay in beta until we can ensure that the update is stable.

you can join on the “Stremio” app page in Google Play, joining on your phone includes you in the beta for Android TV also
