We made a huge update to the Stremio VR app!
Let’s see what changed:
- Movable screen (on a sphere area around the user, so it can also be above and tilted down towards the user, after laying down you would need to keep “Meta” button pressed to recenter as you would probably go outside safe area)
- Movable video control panel
- Passthrough mode
- Added “Quality” setting to change the render scale of the app
- Fixed arabic subtitles
- Fixed various search page issues (some addons were not showing, search was not starting in some rare cases, etc)
- Greatly improved UX of seeking with joystick right / left
- Fixed memory leak during 8K video playback
- Built and updated VLC libs
- Many other small fixes and tweaks
We would also like to remind users of the shortcuts / usage of the app:
- Recenter the app by keeping “Meta” button pressed
- Resize the screen by using joystick up / down
- Move the screen / player controls by moving the cursor over their border, keeping trigger button pressed and moving the cursor

Awesome! Any chance you guys could release a Pico VR version? There’s an unofficial port of the Quest version out there which works but it has a few quirks. An official version would be great.
